With a small budget, the digital marketing of a Dénia business should follow this order: first, that they find you (Google My Business profile and website); then, that they trust you (reviews and content); and only at the end, ads. Paying for ads with a website that doesn't convert is paying for people to leave.
We tell you the order that works, what to do with 100, 300 or 600 € per month and how to adapt it to Dénia's calendar, which here rules more than almost anywhere else.
The order that works
- Complete Google My Business. It's free and, for a local business, it's usually the first source of calls.
- A clear, fast and measured website. Everything else eventually leads to it.
- Reviews with a method. Every new review is advertising you don't pay for.
- Useful content. A page or an article for every question you are often asked.
- Customers who already know you. A well-thought-out email or WhatsApp to someone who has already bought from you sells more than any ad.
- Ads on Google or social media. With a clear objective and measuring how much each contact costs you.
What to do with 100, 300 or 600 € per month
| Budget | Where to put it | What you aim to achieve |
|---|---|---|
| 100 € per month | Well-maintained Google My Business, reviews and a weekly post. You do it, with a guide and someone to review it for you. | More calls and visits from the map. |
| 300 € per month | The above, plus website improvements and content every month, or a small Google campaign during high season. | Visits that turn into measurable contacts. |
| 600 € per month | The above, plus campaigns on Google or social media with conversion tracking. | Contacts every week, knowing how much each one costs you. |
With less than 100 € per month you can also start: Google My Business and reviews only cost time.
Dénia's calendar rules
Here the season changes everything. The website and Google My Business are prepared before people arrive, not when they are already here:
- January and February: review the website, photos and prices for the season.
- March and April: Fallas and Easter bring the first wave of visitors. Google My Business and schedules up to date.
- May and June: the tourist plans their holidays. It's time to have content in English, German or French.
- July and August: fewer changes and more response. Reviews, WhatsApp and summer hours, with holidays in between.
- From September to December: residents and year-round customers. It's time to build loyalty and prepare the website for the following year.
What we wouldn't do with a small budget
- Paying for followers or for «likes».
- Opening five social networks and not maintaining any of them.
- Launching ads without measuring what contacts they bring.
- Changing agencies every three months without looking at the data.
- Spending on a new website every two years instead of improving the one that works.
An example from the area
The Everest, a restaurant in Dénia, didn't need ads to grow on Google. With the website well-explained in Spanish and English, the well-maintained Google My Business profile and content about its cuisine, it went from 61 visits from Google in its first measured month to 105 in September 2026. These are visits from people looking for places to eat, not just curious browsers.
