The starting point
La Giralda has been making rice dishes in Dénia for over a hundred years, but its menu lived on paper. Whoever was looking for where to eat a paella and entered from mobile couldn't find the dishes or a clear way to book: they ended up calling during peak hours or choosing another place.
The solution
A restaurant website with the complete menu laid out by sections within the page itself —not a PDF that needs to be zoomed in with fingers—, table booking and pickup orders, plus the history of the house, which in a century-old business sells as much as the dishes.
How it was done
- We organized what someone who enters is really looking for: what to eat, how much it costs, and how to book.
- Proprietary design on WordPress and Elementor Pro, starting with the mobile screen.
- Menu loaded dish by dish with its photos, so Google can read it.
- Booking and pickup order solved with proprietary development.
- Technical SEO, texts, and legal pages before publishing.
How it turned out
Today the menu can be read at a glance on mobile, the customer reserves or orders without calling, and the restaurant appears on Google for what it really sells: rice dishes and paellas in Dénia.
